Greg Broderick

Hailing from Ireland, Greg Broderick began competing on the national show jumping circuit at the age of 16. Coming from a family with involvement in racing, show jumping and breeding, Greg quickly climbed through the ranks. Currently, Greg and his family operate Ballypatrick Stables in Ireland, where he and his sisters manage a number operations. Known for their high quality breeding programs, Greg is always working with a number of young and upcoming horses in the sport of show jumping.

In 2006, Greg represented his home country at the European Championships in Athens, Greece. He has continued to have immense success at the Dublin Horse Show over the past few years. Notably, in 2014 Greg made history by winning the four-, five- and six-year-old national championships at RDS with mounts BP Castlefield, Alberta Mist, and Super Chilled. Greg continued his success the next year by competing on the Global Champions Tour. Later in the year with partner MHS Going Global, Greg jumped a double clear to help Team Ireland win the Aga Khan Trophy on home soil. Throughout his career, he has been selected for a number of Nations Cup Teams, including at La Baule, Arezzo, St. Gallen, and at the finals in Barcelona. In 2016, he represented his home country at the Rio Summer Olympics. In 2017, Greg was named the TRM/Horseware National Champion and also the Leading International Rider at the 2017 Dublin Horse Show, with wins in both the Speed Stakes and Speed Derby with Zuidam.
